Salsa Verde

Recipe created by Joan Rider, AP Clerk and Admin at Lipman. This recipe was created for Lipman’s employee salsa competition.

Ingredients

  • 10 tomatillos
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 or 2 jalapenos
  • 1 serano
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Directions

  • Broil or char all vegetables until brown and wilted. Let cool then add all ingredients in blender or food processor until pureed.
  • Serve and enjoy!
